Andrew Weil, M.D., praises Matter of FlaxTM in Redbook
(Prescott, Arizona, October 15, 2005) – Matter of Flax LLC, the leading producer of flax snacks, was recently recognized by the world renowned Andrew Weil, M.D. in the November issue of Redbook magazine. Dr. Weil is the founder and director of the Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona and the best-selling author of ten books including his latest work, Healthy Aging.
In the article “60 seconds with Dr. Andrew Weil – America’s natural-health guru prescribes easy changes for a healthier lifestyle,” Dr. Weil lists snacks filled with antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids as those he prefers. Among them, he cites the “unbelievably delicious flaxseed crackers from Matter of Flax.”

In the article “Dr. Weil’s Beauty at Every Age,” Dr. Weil recommends foods high in omega-3 fatty acids as essential in the daily diet. Among them, he cites “freshly ground flaxseed, or Matter of Flax crackers (www.matterofflax.com).”
